PGAV Destinations’ Jim Duckwitz Promoted to Controller

Exemplary accounting role at leading design firm

(St. Louis, MO – November 15, 2016) – The global planning and design firm PGAV Destinations announced that Jim Duckwitz has been promoted from Accounting Manager to Controller.

In this role, Duckwitz reports directly to PGAV’s CFO, and will oversee critical accounting functions, preparing internal reporting, and preparing and analyzing key financial statements.

“Jim has been a remarkable asset to PGAV for the past decade,” said Lyda Krewson, PGAV CFO. “His diligence, persistence, ability to work collaboratively across departments, and attention to detail continue to bolster PGAV’s financial management to a world-class level.”

Prior to joining PGAV Destinations, Duckwitz worked as a Controller at FCI Holdings Inc. and as a Staff Auditor at RubinBrown LLP.

“My career with PGAV Destinations has been an excellent experience, both in personal enjoyment and professional challenge,” said Duckwitz. “I’m amazed by the design creativity of my colleagues; and although I can’t draw a straight line myself, it’s deeply fulfilling to contribute to a successful company by advising on business decisions, financial tools, and project information.”

The Waterloo, IL resident received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1999. For more on Illini Jim Duckwitz, read The U. of Illinois’ Alumni Magazine’s June 2013 article, The Fun Factor.
